About the position

The Senior Analyst role at Angi is a key individual contributor position focused on optimizing the performance of the home repair and online marketplace platform. The role involves leveraging advanced analytics to drive strategic business decisions, collaborating with various teams to analyze consumer behavior, market trends, and service provider performance. The analyst will provide data-backed insights to enhance user experience, increase platform engagement, and improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
• Analyze user behavior, marketplace dynamics, and service provider performance to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement

• Develop predictive models to enhance marketplace matching, pricing optimization, and user retention strategies
,
• Work cross-functionally to provide data-driven insights for feature enhancements, platform updates, and A/B testing initiatives
,
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, contributing to overall business strategy and platform growth
,
• Create dashboards and reports to monitor key marketplace metrics in real-time
,
• Ensure data integrity by collaborating with data engineering teams to maintain accurate, scalable data solutions

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Business, or a related field required, Master's degree preferred

• 5+ years of analytical experience in an e-commerce, marketplace, or home services-related field

• Strong proficiency in SQL as well as data analysis tools such as Python or R
,
• Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
,
• Proven ability to develop and apply predictive models to enhance marketplace performance

• Ability to manage ambiguity and drive actionable results

• Strong communication skills to present complex data to cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders
