Lead Program Manager, Finance (Remote)

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large-scale finance programs from planning to execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and various departments (finance, accounting, IT, etc.) to define program goals, scope, and deliverables.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, manage resource allocation, and track project milestones to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
• Identify and mitigate risks, proactively solving issues that could impact program timelines, scope, or quality.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to program management teams, ensuring best practices and consistent communication across all stakeholders.
• Establish clear KPIs (key performance indicators) and metrics for program success, and monitor progress to ensure achievement of goals.
• Implement efficient financial processes, identify areas for optimization, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across programs.
• Communicate program status, challenges, and outcomes to executives, teams, and stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
• Create detailed reports, financial models, and presentations to support decision-making and strategy formulation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience managing large-scale finance programs or projects, ideally within a corporate or financial services environment.
• Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of finance-related tools, systems, and processes (e.g., ERP systems, financial planning tools, project management software).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience working with senior leaders and influencing decision-making at all levels of the organization.
